Our Approach
The Inside-Out Coaching Model
At Guided Pathways we use a conversation technique called the Inside Out Modality. There are four different models (Connect, Explore, Discover and Integrate) within this practice, and each are guided by powerful questions. The Inside Out Coaching model is used to learn and explore the body's sensations and messages.
It is a way of being.
Listening and feeling these messages can guide us to discover a deeper awareness about ourselves in areas we may have blocks, triggers, resistance, or limiting beliefs. Sometimes we simply need support or a desire to be heard. A more expanded sense of self can, in turn, lead to embodied experiences and discoveries by the client themselves - a means of supporting and propelling the client to move forward in areas of their life.
The Models
The first model is Connection. Connection consists of PAR, Presence, Attunement and Resonance.
A coaching session is opened by a check-in which supports the client and coach to get to know each other, while being aware of their feelings in the present moment.
From here we move into Explore, which is often where the coaching topic or agenda is realised and discussed.
Discover is next. This is the part of the session where the client finds out new ways of being or newly discovered information about themselves from the exploration phase through Powerful Questions.
Integration ties up the session, where our coaches support the client to find their own, unique way of embodying their discoveries. Integration is significant. Through integration clients are able to draw upon their experience and new learnings about themselves when needed.
